If you're tired of dropping calls and slow networks, you might need a cell phone signal booster
Maybe You Need A Vehicle Cellular Signal Booster!
So How Does A Cell Phone Signal Booster Work?
Man with question
Signal boosters increase cell signal by collecting signals with a powerful antenna, delivering those signals to the booster, amplifying the cell signals so your devices receive them, and delivering your device's boosted signals back to the cell tower.
Pros of getting a cell phone signal booster
Vehicle signal boosters are engineered to be used in a car, truck, RV, or boat, and thus need to be able to handle the constantly changing signal environment outside. They typically have a small outside antenna, that is usually magnetic for cars and trucks, and permanent for RVs and boats. That antenna is connected by a cable to the vehicle signal amplifier, and then another cable is run to a small inside antenna, to broadcast the boosted signal to the mobile devices.

Modern cellular technologies such as 4G LTE use the same frequency bands to transmit signal from all towers. If your phone is located between two or more towers of roughly equal signal strength, the other signal towers will act as “interferers” to the tower you’re trying to connect to, causing lower signal quality. Inter-tower interference is one of the main common reasons we see weak signal in urban and suburban areas.
Distance From Cell Phone Tower
Cellular signal is weakened as it travels through space. If you’re very far away from the nearest cell phone tower, your signal will likely be quite weak. The cell phone’s internal radio will have a hard time “hearing” the cell tower’s signal, and similarly, the cell tower will have a hard time “hearing” your cell phone.

Vehicle Construction
Even if the signal outside the vehicle is strong, materials like metal and low-e glass can attenuate the signal, making it weaker inside vehicles.
Geography & Buildings
In the same way that building materials block signal, your signal reception can be limited by attenuation from buildings between you and the nearest cell tower. The natural geography plays a part too: signals often can’t be received in valleys or behind hills and mountains.
